Detail Factory Curveball Brush

A code phrase around here when I really like something is, “I think this could be a winner,” or simply “Dude!” The former was my first reaction when I tried this Curveball Brush from Detail Factory. I like this thing a lot.

Its intended use is for interior cleaning with a car interior cleaner. It has soft bristles for delicate surfaces and an oversized head for cleaning larger areas. You’d also want to add in a smaller detail brush to get those hard-to-reach places in your car’s interior. 

Notice in the paragraph above that I said, “its intended use is for your interior.” For those of you who’ve been following me for any amount of time, you know that I only use things the way I want to. I like to say I’m repurposing a product. Will I use it for interior cleaning? Possibly. Have I found another use for it? Absolutely.

I decided to see how it would work as a tire dressing applicator compared to the RaceGlaze brush I usually use. Here was my discovery. It took me a tenth of the time to apply tire dressing to my tires, and at first, I thought the bristles were too soft for this application, but then I saw how well the dressing went on with the even coverage it left. Inhale, exhale. This is it, bros. 

It has an ergonomic grip and does an excellent job getting inside the lip of the wheel without getting on the face of it. You'll want to grab two of these, one for your interior and another for your wheels. This brush is legit.
