THE BEST POLISHER
Look, I know the price is on the higher side even for me, but this polisher will change your life. It's the best 3” polisher on Earth right now. I'm tempted to say it's the best polisher, period. So, what makes it so special?
The first thing is the feel & sound. It has an incredibly satisfying trigger; it ramps up to full speed instantly, with a very low hum. If someone were using it 5 feet from you, you wouldn't know it's on. Compared to something like the Milwaukee that you could audibly hear in another room.
This is my new favorite polisher. If you are a professional or someone like me who demands the best, you need to pick one of these up.
SMALL IN SIZE, BIG IN POWER
The Mirka 3" polisher has a smaller profile than most 3" DA polishers on the market, making it easy to handle and lightweight. You'll enjoy the user experience while moving some polish around on your car!
The second thing is the power; this polisher has more than enough power to not stall when polishing the contours of the paint. I can just about put my entire body into it, and it just keeps going. Even with all this power, the machine remains incredibly smooth and does not send harsh vibrations up through your arms. You could use this for hours without getting fatigued. Seriously, this polisher is the smoothest I've ever used.
I could envision this being a great tool for shops that have 3-4 polishers going at once, if you've ever heard 3-4 brushed polishers going at once you're the first person to go get some headphones to block out the noise.
BIG ORBIT, BRUSHLESS POWER
The Mirka 3" random orbit polisher is equipped with a perfectly counterbalanced 12mm orbit, giving the end user a decently sized working footprint with a 3" pad. The perfectly balanced counterweight is so precise the machine experiences very little vibration. It's almost mind-blowing how smooth this polisher is.
Mirka has added a very quiet brushless motor to their 3" polisher. This addition makes the polisher extremely powerful but also very fast, It's very difficult to stall this machine so be careful! (You'll never need to use 7,000 RPM, you'll blow out pads!)
If you've used a brushless polisher before, you'll know some of the gearsets are very loud and the motors cog aggressively under low rpm, making the experience less than enjoyable. The Mirka does not have this issue. We believe Mirka is using a sensored motor, whereas other manufacturers may use a sensorless motor.
THE FIRST SMART POLISHER
The Mirka is one of the first polishers to the market with smart capabilities. Connect to the polisher via Bluetooth using the myMirka app that's available on iPhone and Android. The app is great if you have multiple Mirka products, you can add each machine to the app for tracking machine analytics and device configuration. As time goes on, we hope to see more features added to the app!
