The EZ-Coil Cox power cord reel is the ultimate solution I've found for a retractable power cord reel that's sturdy and made here in the USA. For termination, the Ez-Coil reels come terminated with a Nema 5-20 20amp 125v plug. The Southwire cord is a stout SJO 3/C 12 AWG power 50 foot cord that has an adjustable stop that clamps onto the wire.  The reel itself from Cox is rated for 115 volts at 20 amps and 2300 watts.
