Basic - Karcher K1700 Portable Solution

The Karcher K1700 is a portable electric pressure washer kit for car washing. It has an on/off foot switch and a large removable storage bin for your accessories. It fits you if you are just getting started and want a pressure washer that does the job.

I resisted selling an entry-level pressure washer in my store at first. The Karcher K series changed my mind. I knew many people did not want to buy a high-end unit as their first washer. In my view, the motor, pump, and construction on these units are better than what I see on typical budget pressure washers.

Why flow and pressure matter for car washing

For washing a car, I want flow first. My target is around 1000 PSI (pounds per square inch). That is enough to clean your vehicle. It is also enough to blast mud off a Jeep or rinse salt out of your wheel wells.
