Over time, I have perfected my car washing process. As a result of massive amounts of trial and error, we have curated the Ultimate Car Washing Package, which comes with everything I use during my maintenance washes. I want to pass on the knowledge of my process and the chemicals and tools I use to make your car washing experience as enjoyable as possible.
Before Anything, I foam the car with a layer of Bilt Hamber Touch-Less to get off the surface dirt and break down anything stuck on. And look... for years, I thought pre-foams did nothing, but im telling you this stuff is legit. You almost dont need to do a contact wash after. It's a staple of my wash now, and I won't do without it.
After the prefoam, my go-to soap is Koch Chemie- GSF. Whether I'm doing a quick wash session or a long wash and talk, I always gravitate to GSF. It has great cleaning power for a pH-neutral soap, and when used with the Griot's Foam Cannon, it creates thick foam. This means the car is blanketed with soap, providing a ton of lubrication, reducing the chance of scratches or swirls, and preserving my vehicle's paint. And the best part? It doesn't leave any junk behind in the rinse stage like other soaps. Its formula is designed for easy rinsing and leaves a nice cherry scent in the air. While I'm not usually a fan of scents, this one is pretty dang good.
I use CARPRO Reset for more demanding jobs, which is perfect for 'resetting' your coating on more heavily soiled vehicles. It works well on non-coated cars as well. When you don't have a water source nearby, McKee's 37 N-914 Rinseless Wash comes to the rescue - one of the most versatile liquids in our store.
When you are done washing your car, you need to dry it. I've always believed in reducing scratches by adding lubrication. You do this by using a drying aid. I've tried a ton of products over the years, and as of right now, Obsessed Garage Drying Aid is the best out there. OG Drying Aid was developed to act as a smooth sacrificial layer that repels some dirt and other contaminants that land on my paint. It makes it easier to wash off dirt the next time you wash. As you know, I love washing clean cars and Drying Aid aids with that.
This Package also comes with tools and optional add-ons. Check the "What You Get" tab for more information.
