EGO’s portable area light gives you all the outdoor lighting you need in a compact housing. You can illuminate any environment with five different brightness settings adjustable from 600 to 10,000 lumens - it’s incredible how bright this thing gets. Its versatility allows you to have ambient mood lighting, task lighting, and much more.
For us car guys, I see this being used when detailing our vehicles and it’s darker outside. Having the additional light means we can work on all sides of the car comfortably and efficiently. It also serves as an emergency backup light in case the power goes out and maybe you don’t have a generator.
I love how portable it is. You fold the panels and store the unit away in your locker cabinet or the attic. You’d think something like this with so much output would be bulky and weigh a ton. Nope.
This light is equipped with rafter hooks for hanging overhead and a tripod mount to cast light over an entire room. It also comes equipped with a USB A-Port that lets you power or charge your devices. Having these accessories will come in handy for several applications.
When it comes to energy usage, you’re getting up to 35-hours of run time on low with the recommended 5.0Ah Lithium™ battery sold separately. That’s quite impressive for the amount of luminescence you’re getting.
EGO impresses me with how they take a useful product and build it to spec at a respectable price point. Lady and gents, we’re getting a lot of technology for a reasonable amount of money.
