Flex PXE 1" & 3" is a Velcro-backed backing plate. This is a direct replacement for the backing plate that comes with a Flex PXE 80. You can use any pad that uses the hook & loop adhesion of Velcro, we personally use the Rupes Nano pads with our PXE 80. The backing plate has a thin cushioned mounting surface.
For the 3" you can use any 3" pad that uses the hook & loop adhesion of Velcro, we personally use the Rupes Yellow, White & Blue pads with our PXE 80. The backing plate has a thin cushioned mounting surface.
