Honestly, water spots haven't been a huge issue for me personally, but you guys know how I operate. If there's a way to do something better, I'm doing it.
The DIW-20 is a wall-mounted deionization system. What it does is strip the minerals and contaminants out of your tap water before it ever touches your paint. Those minerals are what dry on the surface and leave spots or, worse, etch into your clear coat. With deionized water, that's not a concern.
I run this with my pressure washer and only switch to the DI water for the final rinse. That way I'm not burning through the resin any faster than I need to. I still blow the car dry after, but I'm not stressing about hard water spots at all.
If you're serious about your paint, this is worth having in your garage.
