Active 2.0 Pressure Washer (Tool Only)

The Active 2.0 is one of the best electric pressure washers I’ve tested at this price point. It’s compact, easy to wall mount, and delivers serious performance with over 2.0 GPM, which is right where I want a car-washing pressure washer to be.

Active redesigned the pump with longevity in mind, targeting roughly twice the service life of the VE52/VE56 while improving performance. In our testing, the sweet spot was a 5.0 nozzle, giving around 750 PSI and 2.12 GPM, which is plenty for washing cars safely and effectively.

For foam cannon use, I recommend a 1.5mm orifice for the safest setup. If you have a dedicated 15 or 20-amp circuit and want more foam, run a 1.25mm orifice.

The inlet and outlet layout makes this unit much easier to set up cleanly, especially for wall-mounted garage solutions. It uses a standard M22 14mm outlet, so it works well with the proper OG-style accessories.

This unit has 5-plunger tech where it’s still radial-axial with a wobble plate. The wobble plate is connected to the drive shaft to push pistons back and forth, creating suction and then pushing water out. The amazingness in the Active 2.0 is that it delivers high pressure with a greater amount of water.
