Rainbowair Activator 2000 Ozone Generator | Model 5600-II

When we brought in a couple of old Hondas that had spent years sitting in unconditioned storage, the mildew had already worked its way into the leather and plastics. Years of moisture absorbed by the materials, not just sitting in the air. That is a different problem than a spray can solve, and it calls for a different tool.

The Rainbowair Activator 2000 is that tool, and then some. It covers up to 20,000 sq. ft. and puts out up to 2,000 mg/hr of ozone, four times the output of the Activator 500. If you are treating the vehicle interiors and the unconditioned space they came out of, or running a fire-damaged home, a large shop, or an overnight commercial remediation job, this is the unit that handles it.

It works the same way every Rainbowair Activator does: oxidizing and breaking down the gases that cause odors at the source. No masking. No fragrance. Ozone disperses on its own and reaches fabrics, walls, ceilings, ductwork, and surfaces that no spray touches. Add fans or blowers to the space and you get faster, more complete coverage.

The Activator 2000 runs in two modes. Timer mode gives you up to 24 hours of runtime with auto shutoff, which is the right choice for most jobs. Continuous mode runs until you manually shut it off, useful when you need sustained output for extended work.

For vehicle interiors, the Dual Auto Kit (AUTO-KITII, sold separately) lets you pipe ozone from outside into two cabins at once through 5-ft hoses. No need to run the unit inside the car. Start with no more than two hours per vehicle, air it out, then judge whether more time is needed.

At 15.9 lbs it is portable enough to move between jobs. It runs in temperatures from -20°F to +100°F and holds up in high-humidity environments. Generator plates are serviceable with a brush or ultrasonic cleaner, the Sporax antimicrobial filter handles air output, and a 5-year warranty covers the unit across its 10 to 15 year life.
