For a 2-car garage, you want to install these parallel to the garage door and positioned equally over the two parking bays of the garage. Install these lights on a single switch, or if you want, have two switches with one of them controlling just the lights over the garage door. You'll be able to leave those off when the garage door is up to help prevent shadows. For ceilings up to 13 feet, choose the 4-bulb variant. For anything 14 feet and up, choose the 6-bulb option.
