There are very few things that I get excited about, and this Levrack Storage Solution is undoubtedly one of them. For years, I’ve had people sending me information about this thing, and I completely blew it off until I finally caved in and connected with the CEO/Co-founder, Ryan Stauffer. He and his guys came from Nebraska to my garage at OGHQ to set this thing up, and I couldn’t be happier with the outcome.
The purpose behind me wanting to have this is that I’ve been struggling with where to put my exhausts, wheels, Milwaukee tools, and things that don’t fit in a regular cabinet. Those of you who have traditional cabinets in your garage understand the pain of not having the proper storage for some of your bigger items and tools. You could use something like the Majic Attic Lift to stash this stuff away in your garage attic (if you have one), but a system like this gives you easier access to the tools and things you need without making them inaccessible or out of reach.
I’m not a stuff-storing kind of guy unless that stuff is exhausts, car seats, or audio equipment. You know, cool stuff. Levrack is the best way to “store the stuff.” Sonic and other cabinets are great for hand tools but are not as well suited for stuff. A real-life example of how I use Levrack’s storage solution is I have my car parts, bulk storage of chemicals, and anything else that doesn’t fit in my Sonic array conveniently (and neatly) placed in it. It has made a noticeable difference in how fast I can get things put away and grab them as I need them. I no longer have crap just sitting on my garage floor, which makes me happy. This whole setup, for me, is legit.
Levrack uses pallet racking and mobile shelf units that slide side to side, allowing you to access the drawers and shelves. The pallet racking is sweet. If you’re like me and want to store both wheels and tires, you’ll have plenty of storage space to put that stuff where it’s up and out of the way. The other thing that caught my attention that I got super pumped about was the mobile shelf units. This ingenious functionality allows you to move your shelving from side to side, giving you better access to your drawers and shelves. Ryan explained to me that Levrack has a lifetime replacement on the trolly wheels (that move the shelves side to side) - if there were anything to go wrong, it would be the wheels, but they haven’t had that happen.
This modular system is customizable, where you can modify the shelf to the best size for your space. If you remember, I used to have a bunch of lockers of Sonic lockers in my garage, but once I decided to make the switch to Levrack, I gained a bunch more room and could store more things.

When purchasing accessories, you need to know the width & depth of your hanging cabinets. Hanging cabinets come in three widths: 30", 36", and 48". You pick that number when you buy the levrack, so you should already know that.
Regarding the cabinet depth or distance into the cabinet, there are two options,15" & 18". The overall width of the levrack predetermines that. Again, you selected this when you bought the levrack. They only come in four widths: 7', 8', 10', and 12'. Below, you'll find the configuration for each which will tell you what depth to get.
7' Levracks - 4x15" deep hanging cabinets
8' Levrack - 2x15" & 2x18" deep hanging cabinets
10' Levracks - 5x18" deep hanging cabinets
12' Levracks - 6x18" deep hanging cabinets
Levrack is super sturdy and will work great in shop environments and your home garage. Having this solution is a compliment to your regular array of cabinets. I freaking love it, and I think you will, too.
