The Cougartron PowerOne Weld-Cleaner would be considered an entry-level weld-cleaning machine, but it's more than capable when it comes to automotive applications. This machine will get your exhaust and other metal components cleaner than you ever thought possible.
What is a Weld Cleaner? When a part is welded, like what you would find on an exuaust; many impurities, discoloration, and oxidation form, changing the appearance of the part from its original finish. With Weld-Cleaning, we can bring it back to its original finish prior to welding. The Cougartron PowerOne supplies electricity through the brush and uses some acids to attack and remove the oxidation layer. Once you pass over it with the brush, you simply wipe off the extra chemicals, and you have a perfect piece of metal again.
The only people that are really going to need a machine like this are the DRYCE guys or people doing restorative work where parts aren't easily replaced & can be easily refinished.
