In many of our audio solutions, you’ll have the option to include this video add-on kit. Some people would prefer audio-only in their garage, while others may want to have a display set up. I’ve done both applications and would much rather have a TV installed where I can work on my cars and watch a little Heartland. Okay, a lot of Heartland.

This addition to your audio setup is pretty painless. We’re not just looking to get video in your garage, but we’re looking to get you a solid connection where information being passed back and forth isn’t compromised either because of an inferior cable or incorrect cable length. If you decide to go with this kit, here are the different options you’ll have to choose from:

• HDMI switching. Included with this kit is the NAD MDC HDM-2. If you selected the C368, C388, C658, T778, or the M33 as your source component then you'd get this MDC module. This device allows you to run HDMI in and HDMI out on your amp. It also puts you on an upgradeable path letting you install the latest technology to your amplifier
  
• HDMI cable and size. Depending on the size of your garage, you may have to go with a longer cable. I’m selling HDMI cables in several sizes. You can go with the Ethereal HDMI High-Speed Cable in 1m, 2m, 4m, or 6m. The Velox 10 Meter HDMI Cable or Velox 8K Powered HDMI Cable that’s 15m (49ft). The latter two are on the pricier side, I know, but this is what I’ve found to be sufficient with longer cable runs. Especially if you’re not doing a conduit and going in-wall

This setup may sound kind of clunky, but it’s the way to go. Because I'm using Apple 4K TV as my streaming device, this is what works and works extremely well.
