A fan and now friend Michael from Milspec Ind. showed up at the Meguiar's open house with this extension cord to pitch me on them \u0026amp; I must say, they're awesome. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThese are a 12\/3 AWG locking extension cord, each conductor contains 65 strands of 30AWG 100% copper wire. The plug locks w\u003c\/span\u003ehen a standard U-Ground 15A-125V plug is inserted and will hold up to 80 lbs of pull resistance. To unlock your cable, simply pull back on the collar and remove your plug. The locks are made of high-impact polycarbonate, they can take a beating \u0026amp; they won't shatter.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis updated cord features their Sub-Zero jacket, allowing it to stay flexible even in cold environments. Our last cord was pretty flexible, but this is on another level. My team threw one of these in the freezer for a day, and it came out just as flexible as when it went in. The jacket is also more of a matte finish compared to our last version of this cord and feels more premium in your hands.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eAnother neat feature is the CGM \"Continuous Ground Monitoring\" system.  This system is always monitoring ground continuity for your safety and has a green light illuminated in the head when it's active. You also get another light when you plug in the cord; an amber light illuminates on the male plug end to let you know power is running through the cord.\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWhile this cord is expensive, it will probably last you the rest of your life.
