NAD T758
You may have a legacy receiver that you’re looking to move on from, or you’re in the market for one that offers ultra-clean power, advanced room-correction software, and NADs signature sound. The NAD T758 is one I’d have on my shortlist next to the NAD C368 and NAD M33.
This receiver is a high-end home theatre receiver manufactured by NAD Electronics, a Canadian company known for its high-quality audio products. It is a 7.1 channel AV receiver with support for 4K Ultra HD, HDR, and Dolby Atmos technology. I won’t spend much time talking about everything this thing possesses and can do, but I want to mention some key features you need to know:
- Equipped with the Dirac Live advanced speaker calibration system that helps fine-tune your system to match your room's acoustics best
- Built-in Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity
- Has NADs signature ‘Modular Design Construction’ (MDC) technology that allows you to upgrade the system with new features as they become available
- Support for voice control platforms like Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant
If I had to pick one key feature I like most about this receiver, it’s the advanced room calibration with Dirac Live. This audio calibration system measures the acoustics of your room with the microphone that comes with it. It then fine-tunes your system's output to best match your space's unique sonic characteristics. It sounds complex, but this process is necessary to get the best sound for whatever room you’re setting your audio up in.
I want to mention the built-in BluOS wireless streaming technology, which I think is fantastic and the best universal remote controller. You obviously need to have BluOS-enabled devices to use it. The interface and user experience are just phenomenal. You can control the music from anywhere in your house using the BluOS Controller app for mobile devices, allowing you to group other BluOS-compatible wireless speakers and music players with the T 758 to fill every room with music. I’ve walked out of my living room to the garage, and the transition is seamless.
If you want NAD's signature sound quality, all while having a device that’s simple to operate, this is one receiver you want to consider.
