I went to visit the Meguiar's facility in California and spent 8 hours going over and discussing all of their products. It seemed like no matter how much tape prep I would do, I'd always manage to get polish or compound on trim. Polish seems to always be impossible to remove and sometimes I'd even throw trim away and buy new trim pieces. If your polish dusts a lot, this will help with removing that dust that sticks onto your plastics. Meguiar's M39 also works great for just general cleaning of plastics, rubber, urethane and vinyl surfaces.
Meguiar's M39 really impresses me with how it is able to remove compound and polish stains. You can use this on vinyl tops, bumpers, plastic door panels & much more and it doesn't leave a greasy residue behind.
