I wanted a high-end streaming network player like the Bluesound Node that would allow me to play hi-res music from the Tidal app (my choice of music players) through my Powered Speaker (Popular Spotify Connect is also available). The simplest way to explain the use of this device is that it brings the world’s media into your Hi-Fi system.
We carry a range of speakers with which you would use the Bluesound Node - all of the Core, LYD & Xeo Dynaudio speakers.
What makes this thing awesome is the amount of control you have to customize your listening preferences in detail. From tone controls to fixed volume output, you can create the sound you desire. It does support playback of multiple file-formats over your network, whether wired or wireless. Plus, it has Bluetooth and AirPlay 2 compatibility so that you can pair your smartphone or tablet.
The fluidity of Bluesound allows you to add individual Bluesound players throughout your home, giving you the ability to play the same or different music through different zones (or rooms). We’re using the Node for the sole purpose of the garage, but if you want to take your music beyond this application, you can.
Being the true audiophile I am, I have a keen sense of what equipment will work with any audio setup. If you’re looking for a stout piece of equipment that will give you all the flexibility necessary to get the best sound out of your active speakers, this is what you want.
